Rain

We had a huge rain storm come through last weekend. It dumped something like 7" of rain around the area with lots of wind. Finally when it cleared, we ventured to the rec center. Stanley really wanted to stomp in this puddle but it was off limits.

Later I was chatting with another mother and turned around to find Stanley enjoying a slightly smaller one.

Originally, I thought I was being a good mother giving him shoes with soles on them rather than soft soled shoes. His standard leather soles just absorb water when the ground is wet. Maybe we'll need to invest in some rain boots at some point.
