Haircuts

Stanley loves to get his haircut. Apparently this is a bit strange for kids.  We ventured into a new place the other day. They were definitely setup to handle kids. The place had Legos and little erasers in the shape of a cell phone. Stanley has been playing with his "fancy phone" since he got it last week.

Here he is getting his hair cut.

Lowes and our car ramp

Having difficulty thinking of things to keep Stanley occupied while also not requiring a lot of active participation on my side (being 38 weeks pregnant) I took Stanley to Lowes. It is the only store in SF that I know of that has the special grocery carts with steering wheels for kids. My intent was to have him 'drive' the cart and find the fork lifts they have in those type if stores. It was very successful, but I did feel like we should buy something after 25 min in the store. So, we got a $1 piece of 6ft wood to use as a car ramp. With a little ducktape at home and some paper as tunnels, we made a very successful car ramp. We are waiting for Papa Doug to arrive and fix it a bit, but so far it is still surviving.

Zoo with Stanley

Stanley and I ventured to the zoo on Saturday. We had a great time and since I was am due in a week I let him play at certain areas near benches so I could rest a bit. Here are some photos.
Stanley sure loves to feed the goats.

Traditions

What really makes a tradition? To Stanley just 1 time of something that he likes appears to equal tradition. One day  after school we sat down on "Mr.Croacher's" wall. Turns out Mr Croacher is actually just the basketball coach who's really name is Matt or something like this. After school now, Stanley always wants to have a snack on that wall.
Here he is enjoying orange in Mr. Croacher's wall. He is dressed above as a pirate.

Finally I convinced him to take a selfie in front of St. Paul's church where sister act was filmed.
