Here they have driven (in the stroller) to the "big" park to play baseball.

More Train Stuff

Here are a few more pictures and videos from our choo-choo train outing the other weekend.

Train ride

We went on a fun outing the other weekend when it was raining. We drove over to the Caltrain station and hopped on the first train going south. Stanley was pretty impressed with the big choo-choo trains. They are much larger than the muni light rail trains that go past our house. 

When we finally convinced him to get on the train (he was pretty scared at first) we had a good time riding. We rode on the train for about five minutes to the first stop south and got off. At the station we met up with Wheeler, Sam, and Brenna who came over from their house. 

Then we got back on the next train heading north that came by about 10 minutes later. We rode back to the main station and the boys played in the rain for a while until Wheeler and company got back on another train heading south.

The routine

We often don't capture pictures of the routine things. April and Eric posted some routine pictures on their blog, so I decided to copy them and post a few pictures of things that just seem so routine right now.

The boys and Halima after reading together

Stanley is not keen on the stroller when he is home with us, but he runs to the stroller after breakfast with Halima. He knows that it means they get to go on a big adventures. They go on walks without the stroller, but to go to the Big Park, it requires the stroller. If Halima turns left, the two boys now says, 'No small park, go big park!!'. They know the big park is to the right.

Below they appear to be in an elevator, I think probably in the library.
