Nice Weather and Beach Trip

Yesterday was a fantastically nice weather day in San Francisco.  Bright sun, no wind and warm temperatures all over the city.  In the morning we enjoyed the sunshine by sitting out in the backyard and letting Stanley be outside.  He seems to like the outside a whole lot more than the indoors, which bodes well for his future enjoyment with mom and dad.  We sat outside, sipped coffee and fed Stanley until it was time for lunch.

After lunch we decided to take advantage of this rare weather by heading to the beach.  The weather at the beach other times of year is usually quite terrible.  Even when the sun shines everywhere else in the city, usually the beach is cloudy, cold and windy.  Not so yesterday.  It was bright sunny, warm and almost no wind.  Perfect for an afternoon sit at the beach. 

Stanley had never been to the beach before, but I think he enjoyed it.  The ocean, we realized, is really like a giant hairdryer constantly blowing.  Stanley loves white noise like that and so he spent most of the time sitting and lying rather contentedly.  We all had a nice time.  I know everyone loves pictures, so here you go.
