Stanley at 2 weeks old

We have taken the idea for this blog from our friends April, Eric, and Brian. We are going to copy their idea of posting 'birthday' posts.

So, let me start with Stanley at 2 weeks old.

Stanley can...
- Hold his head up for about a minute when he is on his tummy
- Hiccup & nurse at the same time
- Scream for 5 hours in a row between the hours of 8pm-2am
- Spit up way over the rag dad has put down to catch any burps
- Get his hand out of any swaddle (even a blanket swaddled 'swaddle pod')
- Time his pee to happen as soon as the diaper comes off
- Turn off his crying in less than 5 seconds (screaming to asleep only takes 3 seconds, we just do not yet know the trigger)
- Watch the shadows of the outside leaves
- Smile and coo to make our hearts melt

Stanley loves...
- Skin-to-skin on dad or mom's tummy
- To smile and make all guests think he is an angel and then keep his parents up for the entire night
- The hair drier during diaper changes
- His grandparents & uncle
- Looking at his zebra while changing
- The Moby carrier on daddy and Flounder
- A bath

Stanley hates...
- Diaper changes
- To punch himself in the head by accident (he has yet to figure out that he controls those hands and feet)
